Calicut University is a state-level university which is located in Malappuram, Kerala. This university is the best university for a distance education program and offers a huge range of courses at the UG and PG levels. Admissions will be done based on obtained marks in the previous year’s exam.

Important dates of Calicut University Distance Education

The registration process has been started on 1, July 2022. All the enrollments or admission will be done by using Calicut University through ODL mode.

Interested applicants can fill out their application form till, 30 August 2022

The registration fee will be rupees 200 and every candidate must need to pay the registration fee.

How to apply for Calicut University Distance Education 

Candidates who want to take admitted to Calicut University Distance Education need to apply online mode by visiting the website. Follow the below steps to fill out the application form for 

Calicut University Distance Education:

• Go to the Calicut University’s website and then tap the online registration button

• Click on the signup button and enter all required information such as Email, Name, Adhaar Card, Mobile Number, etc.

• Once the signup process is completed then you need to choose the course, in which you want to get admission

• Fill in other academic details to complete the process

• Upload photo and signature in the JPEG format

• Pay the application fee through the online mode only

• Take the print out of your application form once the fee submitted

• Send your application form to the Director, School of Distance Education, Calicut University Campus

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate programs

BA (Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Malayalam, Economics, History, Afsal- Ul- Ulama, Arabic, Sociology, Philosophy, Political Science)- Applicants must have passed with Intermediate exam from the recognized board.

B. Com- Applicants must have passed with Intermediate exam with Commerce as a mandatory subject from the recognized board

B. Sc- Applicants must have passed with Intermediate exam with Mathematics as a mandatory subject from the recognized board

BBA- Applicants must have passed with Intermediate exam from the recognized board

Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate programs

MA (Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Malayalam, Economics, History, Afsal- Ul- Ulama, Arabic, Sociology, Philosophy, Political Science )- Applicants should have completed Bachelor’s degree

M. Sc- Applicants should have at least a Graduation degree

M. Com- Applicants should have at least a Graduation degree

MBA- Applicants should have at least a Graduation degree

Required Documents while submitting the application form

After filling out the application form, candidates then need to send their documents to the university’s campus. Check the list of below documents at the time of getting admission to Calicut University:

• Copy of Aadhar Card

• Original Transfer Certificate of the last institute

• Original and self-attested marks sheets of the previous year’s qualifying exams

• Community Certificate

• Applicants who completed their 12th from NIOS must have submitted an equivalently Certificate issued by the Calicut University
