Madurai Kamaraj University was founded in the year of 1965 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The university is recognized by UGC and also it is a member of the Association of Indian Universities. The MKU university is also accredited by the NAAC with an A grade. The department of Distance Education of this university was founded in 1971 with another name ‘ Institute of Correspondence Course & Continuing Education.

The university offers 12 UF, 44 PG Diploma, 10 PG, 21 Diploma, and 10 Certificate courses through distance mode. The MKUDE universityhas been approved by UGC and DEB.

Willing applicants can fill out their application form online or offline mode.
